GPIV: GNU software for Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV).

Large part of my research on fluid mechanics deal with experimental techniques. Fortunately for all of us , Dr. Gerber Van der Graaf created a project that allows us freely analyze experimental images by means of PIV. I suggest that interested people should strongly support the GPIV project, adding new features, reporting bugs, or only recommending its use to their collegues world-wide. I tested it, and the results were just excellent. Currently I am using GPIV for data analysis with high success. More information:
